Just how good is it? I realise that the Tarantinos top films has been done to death but where does Django rate in its own right? I watched it tonight for the second time (the first was when it first came out). For me it's a great film with some great acting performances. Every scene with Christoph Waltz as Dr Schultz is quality. Possibly as good as his performance in Inglorious B******s. The "you owe me 200 dollars" makes me laugh out loud.
Leonardo Di Caprio is one of my favourite actors. The scene where he cuts his hand is phenomenal. Also, the scene where the gang have homemade bags on their heads is hilarious. As expected in Tarantino films the music always seems perfect for each scene.
For me its a solid eight out of ten. One to watch every few years.

Absolutely love it. Probably have it above Pulp but below Barstewards. Depends what genre you like as to how you rank his films. Kill Bill is still my favourite though.
