Miovski is only 24 and has scored a fair few goals in a pretty poor Aberdeen team. I like Danilo but I dont think he is a prolific finisher. I think the Rangers first team would benefit from a player like Miovski right now.

We need a goalscorer and probably because of his age and potential I would maybe rather go for Miovski than Shankland.

But the reality is I dont think we have the cash for either - certainly not in january.

Danillo has outscored him in goals despite far less starts, goals per 90 is better, and hits the target more with hits shots. I prefer Danilo.

I do like Miovski, however if it were between the two Id play Danilo.

I would pay off Roofe in January and punt Dessers out on loan to try and get him some game time with a view to trying to get a million or two back for him.

Oh I 100% agree we need another striker I just dont think Miovski is better than Danillo, and for the price he is being valued at I dont think its a possibility for us for who IMO would be back up to him.

If roofe isnt gonna take a cut and I dont see why he would, he wont get the medical caer or the wages he is getting with us at another team, no one will touch him and I suspect he might retire after us.

Dessers I would sell to Tesco maybe they can make a passable Bolognese out of him. we dont have a back up striker we have a walking sicknote, and two donkeys. So I cant see us being allowed another striker without one them going sadly. We badly need another capable striker however.

Roofe I would just pay up his contract to get him out the building January. He has been a very good player in the 8 or 9 games he has been fully fit for us but he is nothing more than a distraction and a drain on our medical staff.

Hopefully Clement and our new Director of Recruitment will have a couple of names up their sleeve that can improve us.

I actually wouldnt be completely against a short term loan option in for the second half of the season if we can get Dessers out. Maybe an out of favour senior striker who has been there and done it at a decent level and fancies a new challenge and experience?

I certainly dont think we will be going all in in January.

Its going to take a good bit of juggling to sort out the mess Beale left us in - I think that will mostly get done next summer following Clements comments yesterday.

I expect 2 or 3 to come in january with maybe a couple of them temporary moves.

for comparison Danilo has a goal every 115 mins and Miovski is at a goal every 218 mins. thats quite a big difference. I understand its not directly comparable as they are in different teams but Danilo's stats are better and his link up play and general overall game seems better IMO.

Id defo take Miovski as back to him , no question but just cant see us paying those prices for him which makes sense IMO.

I think Clement will have a couple names tied up for this window with the recruitment team taking over the buying onwards.

an experienced player on loan would be a good shout. something along the lines of a Vardy or something for eg.

I was told by a pretty decent source a couple of weeks ago that Miovski to Celtic was a done deal for £5m in Jan.

Hes a good player and likes a goal against Rangers.

£5m is nothing to the East End gazzillionaires....

That its not a massive financial outlay given the healthy finances of your club - and therefor a not completely unrealistic move for celtic?

There was nothing sinister being implied other than you have lots of cash and can more than oafford Miovski (*especially relative to us) but then thats information thats already quite well established in the public domain.

Id take Miovski because we Roofe and Dessers are write offs - but I doubt Rangers could afford to spend that on a striker in january.
