As for the OP yh Ramsdale was perfectly fine imo had a decent game. Was decent last season. I think Rayas the better keeper overall but that alone doesnt make Ramsdale bad, hes decent enough, not quite elite level but not many are. Rayas a tad better overall but struggled to show it at Arsenal so far. Ramsdale won u a lot of points last season with some huge saves and games, he seemed a fan fave too and a bit of a lad etc? No1 saw the Raya sttuff coming did they really? All seems a bit odd.

Raya's move is still only a loan, and I doubt we take up the option if he continues to falter.

I could see Ramsdale staying till we find someone better.

It is an option but we are widely expected to take it

We don’t need full backs either, we have both Timber and Tomi to come back and you would expect both to walk into the team on current form. There’s also the hope that White and Zinny stop being shiiit and recapture some of last season’s form.

We desperately need to striker, even more than we need to replace Havertz.

Of course we are taking up the Raya option, Arteta and Inaki love him.

sry i meant an 8*, rice ode and someone else. Partey if he can stay fit sure, vieira cant get a game for w.e reason and havertz Jorginho played alright in there with rice and Arsenal look better with that 3 in mf tbf but yeah id still say you need another top mf option.

It's an option and not an obligation.

In fact, Brentford gave a season extension to Raya, so his value would not be affected if decided to decline the option.

Don’t think that’s right either, he extended his contract at Brentford as part of the deal
