Misheard lyrics

I’m sure we all have songs where we later in life go ‘ohhh, so that’s what is said…’.

Here’s a couple I’m ashamed to say I was late in life to discover.

‘She’s so popular’ from the Peter Gabriel song Games without Frontiers. It’s not what I thought 😂

‘Don’t bring me down, Bruce’ from the ELO song Don’t bring me down’. Again, it’s not that either.


I have more but those two are embarrassing enough. What song lyrics do you mishear, even after you know the real lyrics?

Yeah you can't raise the pot..you can add to it, & you can win it or lose it

Nah, you can raise the pot in poker. Means you raise equal to the pot size.
So if there is 32k in the pot you raise 32k - raise the pot
