As you may have seen online now, Liverpool fans getting excited and nobbing off City with the return of the one-sided love in they have with Man City. A very weird rivalry I must say.
They now believe the title race is back to Liverpool vs City and who can blame them? With our ability to not score goals, its looking likely that our title contender status is soon to be changed to Top 4 Contenders very soon.
So how can we change things? How can we make sure we stay in the race?
Heres what I would do:
1. Firstly and most importantly. SACK ARTETA. He is no longer the manager to take us forward. He has peaked and taken us as far as his ability as manager can do.
2. Hire a proven manager or a manager who actually has potential such as Zidane, Xabi Alonso or Roberto Di Zerbi (Hey we could offer Brighton a manager swap deal)
3. Fook FFP. No other club seems to care so why should we. Go and give Napoli £150m this week for Osimhem
4. Accept that Project Havertz has failed
5. Put Ramsdale back as our Number 1. Why is our best keeper on the bench?
6. Sign a new Central Midfielder to play with Rice and give him some freedom
7. Sign a RW who can not only provide back up to Saka, but challenge him for the spot too.
8. Play faster more expansive football, giving more freedoms to our front 3.
As you can see, we have probably too many things to do to now fix and save our season. That is because of our manager who decided to fix an issue in the GK where there wasnt one. Hes just created a problem.
We should have put all our energy after Rice into signing a top striker.

there 5 teams within 5 points at the top lol in 2 games it can all change theres 18 left....

If we win our remaining 18 PL games then we stand a chance of the title. Our season would have been turned around then

When you say no other club cares about FFP I don't think you can include Everton in that list they are the case in point for what can happen if you mismanage your finances. Looks like Newcastle are going to have to sell to balance the books, maybe we are starting to see FFP working, unfortunately its 15 years too late.
Signing Osihmen is all well and good but if we get a points deduction it kind of defeats the purpose of buying said player.
