Get Mourinho NOW!

This seems like there is something telling us that we need to change managers.

Mourinho, a proven winner, has just been sacked by Roma: https://news.sky.com/story/jose-mourinho-sacked-by-italian-side-as-roma-13049428

He is a proven winner, experienced and knows how to lead a team. Sack Arteta now and get him in. We can win the league still if hes in charge.

Arteta has done a good job but hes run his course and its time for a proven winner and an elite manager like Mourinho to take us forward.

Can only assume the OP had 4 grams of bugle and a pint of Toilet Duck for breakfast. I’m no fan of Lego Head, think the bloke is a belllend of the highest order and has probably reached or is close to reaching his ceiling at Arsenal now after 4+ years. But to suggest replacing him with that washed up, football terrorist former Chelsea & Spurs manager whose career has been in terminal decline for a decade beggars belief.

Having said that, if I read tomorrow that Safegate had been given the sack and Jose was on 6 month contract to win England the Euros this year I wouldn’t complain. They are both boring, pragmatic managers but Jose at least has experience of winning tournaments at elite level whereas Safegate is an eternal pathetic nice guy loser whose pathetic nice guy loser aura permeates into everything he does and will ultimately cost us in the crucial moments. Unlike Safegate, Jose has big cajones and that may be the difference between England getting over the line or not this summer. I’d be up for that one as a one tournament special.

Nah fack that! I don't want Jose anywhere near England. Whatever winning experience he has or had I don't think this guarantees anything such is the decline we've seen from him. Potter, Howe or any other progressive manager (ideally English) if Safegate was to leave.

I’m talking about purely for the purpose of coming in for this tournament to try and win it. Smash and grab, a one off. Long term no, but I’d have more faith in Jose getting a team over the line on the big occasion that Safegate, he’s hopeless. Anyway, won’t happen, Safegate is a badge and tie man and will get his last shot before stepping down.

wouldnt surprise me if the fa keep southgate for another tournament after the euros.

think it would take losing all our group games for him to be sacked.

I still wouldn't want him. I'm not a fan of Southgate's style of management but I don't dislike the man and would rather see him succeed after all these years of trying. Jose however is toxic and would feel a bit shallow to bring someone like him in to come in win something then fack him off again and he probably wouldn't deserve the credit since this England squad is pretty damn good at the moment.

To be honest, with the quality in the England team right now, I'd sooner just keep Southgate on and hope he can win something by accident.

Saw the title and was about to post asking how long OP had been a Gooner. Then I saw it was you Kami and you're more goonold enough to know that's the one manager AFC can never get just one pure principle.

100% with you on get rid of Mikel but can't be that man who replaces him. Too much history so it would be...

Just WRONG!
