Incredible that Wolves did not register a single league victory over Brighton until 1991, and our first league victory away at Brighton didnt come until 2004, Kenny Miller scoring at the Withdean Stadium for one nil win. We've snuck a couple of 0-1's down there since and a few draws but that's it. Less of a bogey team, more a full on constant stream of bright green mucus.
But that's history, current reality looks much more positive, three wins on the bounce has given Wolves a great opportunity to look forward with optimism towards the second half of the season, victory on Monday puts us level on points with Brighton, but would need an unlikely 4 goal margin to go above them. Brighton have a few injuries and Mitoma is away at the Asia Cup, (Nelson Semedo breathes a sigh of relief), but they still have a very talented squad.
Not aware of any injury issues for us, Cunha was knackered on Wednesday but nothing serious apparently.
Should be a good game and any result is possible, 1-1 for me.

Because Sunday’s game is being played at the ground of a little Championship team, there will be no VAR

Do they have nets in the goals DJ?

Wolves evidently linked with Jota Silva

Now if he was a cross between Diogo and Fabio he might be worth a few quid

Leander Dendoncker is set to leave Villa on loan for the rest of the season. No surprise there but it is a surprise that he is set to join Italian champions Napoli who will also have an option to buy

Algeria totally dominant in their must win game against Mauritania with 76% possession. But they’re losing 1-0 at half time and unless they turn that around they are eliminated. A draw wouldn’t be enough

Algeria lost to Mauritania so Ait Nouri’s AFCON tournament is over

That is good news. Doubt he plays Sunday but after that he should be good.

That Algeria v Mauritania game was a bit of a tough watch, Algeria were really poor. Albion thread is up, wonder if we'll tempt any of the pond life to raise their heads.
