Crikey! Didn't realise the admins had also had enough of him. That's quite the achievement.

I'd love to know the full context and just what the other poster wrote that he considered so offensive.

Raptor continuing his crusade against Sheriff by calling him a racist and a homophobe based on a suspicion he had a different account on the old 606, Sheriff retaliating by declaring Raptor is a child molestor, which is what Sandy took exception to. It was pretty heated and strong stuff, I’ve certainly been banned for a lot less, language wise.

But, given that Sandy was a serial wum, serial filterer and serial complainer, for him to then publicly call Admin out was taking the piisssss and he got the response he deserved.

I’ve said repeatedly that I have no issue with the use of language or terminology on here, we are all grown men and anyone who gets so upset by phrases like pansy or whatever needs to have a word with themselves. I think a lot of complaints are more out of vindictiveness than genuine offense being taken - I imagine a lot of people complain against other users for stuff they wouldn’t complain about if one of their own little group on here said the same. There’s a lot of apparent Mother Theresa’s - or hypocrites - on here for sure.

For me what really damages the site and peoples experience of using it is incessant wummery, certain characters continuously creating wum articles on oppo boards or invading every thread with the same WUM nonsense, resulting in every half decent discussion descending into squabbles and name calling. That’s where I think board bans for repeat offenders like Maf or 19+6 > 20+3 etc are appropriate, why should users have to put up with that crap every time they come on the forum.

Admin is good at responding to complaints (I should know) and the Spurs board has been much better since that bellled 19+6 has been banned from the forum. I only hope if/when he comes back it’s with a board ban.

Didn't know 19+6 had been banned. Good riddance, I called him out on his BS months ago.
His anti Spurs rhetoric was constant.

My hunch is that if the admins didn't feel it was worth taking down, it probably wasn't that bad. You've only got to look at the regularity of his filtering to know just how sensitive he was to even the slightest disparaging remark…

He ruined so many articles on the spurs board with the same crap over and over again

Even most the Liverpool fans can’t stand him

He will be back but hopefully banned from the spurs board …..if he had a point with anything he wrote or was remotely funny it wouldn’t be so bad

Yes, Sandy had many aliases on here.
He & I had our disagreements leading to the usual filterings. Sandy was filterer in chief on here.
But that said, he was a very long time Spurs supporter, and his father was too.
But he was also a chicken when it came to meeting people on the notice board for real.
I set up a meeting with him one time at the Freemason's Arms in Hampstead. Sandy chickened out!
If he's really gone, .....then on the whole I view it as a loss.
But we all go sometime!

The real reason is he lost his rag over some abuse that was being directed at Raptor (I think) by Sheriff, had a pop at Admin about the way behaviour on the forum is managed and promptly quit. Hasn’t been seen since. I didn’t mind Sandy, but equally I don’t miss him. He was one of a small minority who undoubtedly ruined other people’s experience of using this forum.

Another was Maf, but as far as I can tell he has also facked off out of it. Hopefully natural selection has done the human race a favour and wiped the ugly thick miserable worthless piece of skum off the face of the earth so we don’t ever have to suffer him again.

There’s a few other turds that still linger, but those two were the bigger culprits along with Wahl and Culer. Mercifully they all seem to have been flushed down the khaze where they belong for now.
