its always been that bad, they just dont change it and eventually most find out.

FIFA has been a speed merchant ball over the top affair for about 15 years now.

football games died when PES stopped progressing.

Sports games in general (outwith racing) have failed to progress with the rest of the other markets genre's IMO.

The thing that drives me insnae is how bad my goalkeeper always is, compared to how bad opposition goalkeepers are

That's not true at all

They died when they started introducing micro transactions. EA knew they were raking in the money so stopped trying to produce good games

disagree... Im seeing it form a game play POV.

back in the day football games were rotten then Super kickoff was a game changer, chaning the style of the gameplay, then Sensi Soccer came ou, mastered it and was the leader of the pack. they were the daddies nothing couldnt touch them. but it went as far as it could go.

Then FIFA came out with the basic 3D gameplay and changed the game completely and dominated, to which pro evo then perfected prob right up to about pro evo 6 and since then never really progressed at any real rate of improvement in gameplay (only graphically and animations) there has been no real evolution for ages now that we seen with Kick off to FIFA.

I still have 04 i think it was, as the worst football game I have ever played. FIFA i have found has just been criminally bad for decades......and all football games have been pretty awful for the last 10 years. How anyone can work on these games and pretend to be football fans, I dont know, the AI is just terrible and hasnt felt like football for so, so long. There was talk of a third player entering the market but thats gona a little quiet. We need another Actua!

I play ultimate team occasionally.
It's crap.
The menus are broken so badly that the game crashes almost every time I am on it.
The gameplay is probably the worst it's ever been.

You'd think with EA losing the FIFA rights that they would have put some effort into the game.

I recently complained to playstation that I have purchased a broken product because that's exactly what it is. Yesterday I played for two hours, the game crashes on 3 separate occasions.

similar view to me... it stopped progressing for me about 2007 was when PE6 was out and that for me was when we seen them start to stall.

And now its far worse than it ever was cos not only is it just reskins now but its now reskins with fewer features !!

Like seriously my friend if you can make prem refs and var look compentent, Onana world class in comparison and give Jamie Carragher the ability to catch Robben with a 10 yard head start (yes its been that long), then you really should just delete the game.

And lets not even get into how hard it is nowadays to just play a "friendly" against AI. Navigating weird ass menu structures trying your hardest either not to buy a hundred quids worth of sheet, or start an online game against a toxic little 10 year old. I just want to play Master League with my team!

PES just as bad as FIFA ..... took away the co op master league... loved that $hit.

Me and my mate would always have the most horrible vrs matches. the most stalemate boring midfield battles as we knew exactly how each other played. So we always played co op master league then for some mental reason that has never been explained they made it single player only.
