Sonny back before Brighton clash

Really good news for us!!

After the suspension and injury epidemic, and then AFCON/Asia Cup commitments, we have finally the full squad that we didn't have since 6th of November when Spurs were topping the league.

Ange will be able to field a full squad and have a chance now to work with most important first team players!

One discussion that we need to have is who are the best 11 we think we have, and do the new additions, Dragusin and Werner, get any start at all?

Exciting news and times ahead. The team needs to gel again but hopefully should be firing on all cylinders soon enough!

Sonny due back on thursday.

Son Werner Johnson is our fastesr front 3 if pace is whats important to Ange

Son Richy Kulu is probably our most technical front 3

Son Richy Werner is our front 3 with the greatest goal threat

I personally would start with the goal threat front 3. Then bring on Johnson if we are chasing a goal or Kulu if we are defending a lead

Son is class and our captain so starts 9 times out of 10.

Richi is currently the inform PL striker. Only a fool would drop him now.

RW is where the debate is and we have Kulu Johnson and Werner as all possibles which is a fantastic position to be in and should get the best out of them.

Personally I like Deki on that side because he is a better ball retainer and works back more, and carries the ball forward well. Agreed he is slightly ponderous of late but i dont think we are best starting with a front three who are all so direct without that ball retention & hard working/physical edge.

So i'd go with the technical 3 most times we many options to change it up if we needed.

Fair enough, it's a big shame how Kulu has dropped off from his loan levels. I think our right side could be upgraded which is shocking considering we've spent over 80m on Kulu and Deki.

The irony for me is I think Danjuma and Bergwijn would have been effective under Ange. Two direct pacy wingers that like taking on full backs. Controversial but some might even take Traore over Johnson.

Deki is Kulusevski's nickname not Johnson's

I am excited with the news that Sonny is coming back tbh, as he is one player we all know given half a chance, he will bury any chance coming his way.

The drop off in form of Deki is understandable. He is at times, running himself ragged when we were short of cover. He covered more blade of grass than most in the league at one time.

I am still disappointed so far with BJ but I accept this is his season with us and only joined us this season.

Think Werner, Sonny and Richy has the hallmarks of a deadly trio imo

Deki had covered the most ground in the PL this season. Although we have only had league games, i think it is inevitable that his levels have dropped a bit. He could do with a freshen up IMO but its been hard with all the absentees.

I also think the same for Porro. He's played a lot, covers a lot of ground and his form has dipped a wee bit, although still playing well.

Porro has been a mainstay. Wondering whether Emerson could start one of the next games

Would Ange rest Porro even if he probably needs to be rested?

I feellike it is not Ange way of doing things. Flog the horse while the going is good seems like Ange ball!

I wouldn’t be against playing royal and sticking Porro wide right
