I was wrongly informed before the game that both Rodri and Bernardo were on 9 yellow cards so I was expecting one, if not both, to get booked with the Liverpool game on the horizon.

Luckily it was fake news.

First half United looked far more dangerous than us but trying to defend a 1-0 lead by timewasting smacked of rank amateurism and lack of self belief

I still don't understand why Haaland did not stick his head on that chance.

Bizzare game from Rashford. Starts with a worldie and then sheer mediocrity. Must be pretty exciting supporting United with Onana in goal too. Anything can happen.

Solid game from City. I asked my mate at half time for a score prediction. He said 3-1. I agreed. Could have been much more.
