A few words on Nico Jackson, remarked previously on aerial deficiencies - https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/459758

With each passing match exponentially evolved on that aspect since returning from African Cup Of Nations, routinely winning aerial duels by timing and attacking them better against defenders that are no slouch -

Possesses the required spring and height to his leap now (which I didn't think he had).

This is a super dynamic Centre Forward that instantly transferred flair from one league to the rough-and-tumble rigours of the PremierLeague. Even in defeats standsout as one that doesn't shirk away from responsibility.
You can see all the elements of his game falling into place, operating at a consistently high level...divine to watch unfold.
Pound-for-pound best summer signing investment with Palmer thus far. Caicedo & Gusto behind.

Of course he's been taken for granted and written-off by *dumb as a rock masses that fail to grasp the concept of development, Nico' boundless ability and couldn't spot talent if it hit them square in the face.
(Some detractors understood the weight of his impact only after he was absent during his time at African Cup Of Nations).

Has all the the hallmarks of a future all-timer in the making.
A product of astute & efficient scouting. Need more of them.
The pining for 'proven' and 'experience' is the same train of thought that landed us with expensive wasters...Torres, Falcao, Higuain, Aubameyang, Lukaku, Pizarro, Saul Niguez etc...look how that turned out. Cited household seasoned professionals off the top of my head, no guarantees of success.

Nico' approach play, link-up, presence and ability to create something out of nothing as an outlet been tremendous on the whole (bar anomalies like Wolves away) + scoring goals without taking penalties to boot.

First full season being the main frontman at 22...genuinely been problematic for the renowned toughest defenders let that sink-in, few things to refine and stamp his authority on...the upside and upward trajectory will be stark. Fundamental skillset that he provides are invaluable wouldn't swap him for any of the alleged named targets, unique.
So what if he misses chances? (Which striker no matter the level of inexperience or experience doesn't?) He persists, consistently gets into right positions and is zealous, this a player hypercritical imbeciles jeer at on the pitch, make disparaging remarks about and cheer when subbed off (His conversion rate over two seasons has actually been competitive with the best high-profile names, may just fall short of the 20 goal target but he will score 15 at the very least in a rather depleted dysfunctional side).
I wont even talk on the copious unconditional (vomit-inducing) support players like Werner or Torres who were by far levels below the standard required received. Utter basketcases and Hid on the pitch.

No striker in Nico' age bracket is matching or bettering his output in and out of possession, the most cost-effective striker purchase.

A scapegoat for the brain-dead inside and outside the stadium, that don't deserve anything good. No two ways about it.
Am I surprised? No. Thick as mince fickle impatient, so-called supporters peddling inane baseless narratives everywhere, without a mind of their own. Herd mentality.

(*To the tune of 'solid as a rock')

I reiterate and stand by my view that...Nico up top alongside Christo Nkunku & Chukwuemeka (tip-top condition) would have solved issues in final third.
Sterling might not be so complacent either, if he wasn't guaranteed a place in the starting lineup due to experience.

Experience is meaningless without any tangible quality worth having on the pitch and you could mistake Sterling for being a rookie at times in his individual actions, which is extremely irksome given his footballing age and years spent at the highest level being coached by one of the top coaches. Incomprehensible.

Sterling stopped making those darting moves (out of possession) which diminishes his value and invalidates the purpose of inclusion in first-choice starting lineup.
Blindside movements catching defenders unawares, is the best type of moves behind defences and in the box. Sterling at his most dangerous perfected that from any angle to a tee, very potent and unpredictable.
Second to none, was the barometer and benchmark

Mf, very vivid dialogue,

oozing with passion and fleeting gilmpses

I think the support are warming to "Nico", as long as he keeps scoring the bromance should continue.

Always liked Nico from first seeing him in Pre Season, young raw and inconsistent but has some great attributes, hope the guy makes it here personally.

Probably need a proven striker as well but room for Jackson as well hopefully.

Doing ok for a first season in the PL, under the added pressure of basically being our only regular striker in a virtually new team.
