A pleasing yet jittery win over Reading on Tuesday kept the sliver of daylight between us and third place.
But therein lies the crunch. We are now playing for that sliver of daylight on Saturday, win and we'll be up to mid-morning, draw we are at dawn, lose and we will be in the blue hour and very disappointed.
Some very good football was played on Tuesday - we should have been 3 up by half-time but of course we cannot be promoted on shouldas and couldavs.
It's nearly a sell out tomorrow - no seats together are available, all singles - so leave early - for the match that is. It's been designated black and white day, so wear black and white and be proud and shout loud. This isn't last chance saloon, we can still make the play-offs but if we get autos, think how much money you will save.......
