You were right

"It felt a game out of time. Players in the modern age don’t look quite so exhausted as they did on Sunday, dragging their limbs forward for just one more assault, socks round ankles, hair soaked with sweat, cramp gnawing at their calves."

It was a bit like this season's game at Galatasaray in that respect, except this time we got the dramatic winner that that game lacked.

Of course, Martin Edwards has always insisted that he always believed in Fergie and never considered sacking him, even if United hadn't won in Nottingham that day. Which kind of pizzes on the chips of this newspaper article.

It's just an urban myth that has been fueled by the media all these years. A bit like Denis Law relegated United to Div2 by scoring his backheel goal at Old Trafford. It didn't.

Still a good read, which is why I put it up.

One win against a knackered Liverpool and suddenly ETH is being made out to be Fergie

He’ll be gone a year from now
