I actually wonder how we have managed to remain in 6th. We have had so many poor performances, really surprised we are not lower down. Quite a few games which we have been fortunate to win.
The more I think about the title race, the more I don't want any of them to win

Pretty similar to last season, no? That also had a load of narrow, unconvincing (spawny?) wins and a league points total punching way above actual performance levels. The awful goal difference in both campaigns pretty much confirms that.

Last season Rashford had his purple patch, Bruno was much better also. I think we over-achieved last season, but we played better in far more games than we have this season.
I'm not sure if we have put together a 90 minute performance this season

We may have slightly overachieved but we played a lot more to our strengths than we are currently doing. We were a lot more compact and far better off the ball than we are now.

He's tried to change things this season and start to change the way we play and it's been an absolute disaster.

Rashford was on fire and that papered over ETH’s cracks and hid deficiencies

Surely though, if you have lots of narrow wins, after a while it stops becoming spawny , and becomes deserved.

3 wins between now and the end of the season? Those 3 in the OP would represent a massive positive given the injuries we've suffered, season we've endured. It's not been great.

I think we'll win more than 3 games, it won't be pretty either!

When it turns to not so narrow losses then maybe you know it was the very definition of a purple patch, The doal difference ultimately leaves the best evidence of our pure averageness,

Let's hope that 2 of them are in the FA Cup then.

Feck the league, we've had our chances to get into that 5th spot and fluffed it time and again.

Win the FA and nobody will care that we finished 6th.
