There's no point talking about that result from last night, as I said throughout the day we would get beat so it is what it is. Ten Hag isn't good enough, what did I say in summer '22 before he got appointed? The guy was rejected by Spurs ffs, so he never had any business managing the biggest club in the world. To be fair to Erik, he did well last season and it's not his fault we gave him the job but he has to go. He's just not a top manager.
One huge plus point from our debacle at 'The Bridge' was the performance of Antony. Now some of what i've seen written about our Brazilian winger this season has been disgraceful, people saying he's not even EPL standard etc. The reality is, as I have said all along, he's a brilliantly talented footballer who just isn't a winger. Ironically enough yesterday, I was comparing him heavily to Juan Mata and that assist yesterday had Mata's DNA all over it. Easily his best game and really did look like the world class player we all expected to sign.
On to the Liverpool game now and you know what? It would just be typical of this manager and these players to turn it on at Old Trafford and beat them. Ten Hag's record vs Klopp is pretty flawless, only the one loss and then nothing but victories. Their high line will suit us pretty perfectly and Rashford's record against VVD is excellent. I'm not saying we will win, but it's 100% a possibility. It won't change my mind on Ten Hag though.
Let's win the FA Cup and see Ten Hag off with a trophy.
