Essex getting rattled through again so will need Cook and Porter to rescue them again. Needed one or two to have a bit of a dash really, being defensive means you'll have one with your name on it eventually. Somerset will still need the biggest score of the game to win though.

Essex losing their last 4 wickets for 1 run is going to cost them here. I know it's a low scoring game and obviously very hard to bat out there but I felt we had to set them around 200 to have enough. Snater has fought back well with the ball but always feels easier to chase a total in a game like this when you have the momentum of rolling a side out cheaply in the second innings.

Half an hour ago I was going to post that we were about thirty short but got side tracked and missed the end.
