What can be decided this weekend...

It is very much the business end of the season, especially in the lower leagues. Still lots to play for, but slowly we are seeing things decided.

Premier League
If Liverpool beat Manchester United tomorrow then Liverpool will secure at least top 5. Arsenal and Manchester City would also ensure top 5 if they too win.
Bournemouth can assure their safety by avoiding defeat to Luton, a result which would also guarantee Chelsea, Brighton and Wolves their place in the 24/25 PL season. Fulham too can ensure survival today.

Championship
6 games left for most, although defeat last night means Rotherham will finish bottom.
The title race remains as hot as ever. Ipswich lead and kick off the day with a massive derby with Norwich, who currently occupy the last play-off place.
The top 3 have secured at least a play-off place, and although Southampton can still mathematically finish top 2 it is unlikely.
That last play-off place is still up for grabs, with Coventry and Preston having a game in hand on Norwich and Middlesbrough and Hull still just about in touch.
The relegation battle is not over, with Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield 3 and 2 points from safety. Birmingham, Millwall and Plymouth are the closest, but you cannot really rule out Stoke, Blackburn, QPR or Swansea just yet.

The big games are:
Norwich vs Ipswich (12:30 on Sky)
Coventry vs Leeds (3pm)
Leicester vs Birmingham (3pm)
QPR vs Sheffield Wednesday (3pm)

League 1
Portsmouth and Derby shared a draw midweek, meaning Bolton are still active in the fight for the 2 automatic promotion spots. However, if Portsmouth win today and Bolton lose then Pompey will be 12 points clear of the Trotters with 12 points to play for. Bolton go to Bristol Rovers and Portsmouth host Shrewsbury, while Derby don't have a game.
Lincoln, Oxford and Stevenage look to be fighting it out for the last play-off place.
Carlisle will be relegated if they lose or Burton win. Upturns in form for Port Vale and Cheltenham mean the relegation battle for the other 3 places remains intense with teams up to 16th placed Charlton still needing points.

League 2
Stockport County have a 4 point lead over Mansfield in second, but more importantly a 6 point lead over 4th placed MK Dons, plus 2 games in hand. A Stockport win and MK Dons win would mean the Dons could only match Stockport, although 5th placed Barrow can't be ignored. Stockport face 3rd from bottom Sutton and MK Dons play bottom placed Forest Green Rovers.
It is still tight at the bottom between Forest Green (36pts from 41 games), Colchester (38 from 39), Sutton (39 from 42) and Grimsby (40 from 40)

National League
Chesterfield have lost the last 2 as they chase 100 points, but the title was long sealed.
Barnet will seal a top 3 place (one less p/o round) with a win today, while Bromley could take the other if results go their way. Still a few teams in contention for 4th-7th.
Oxford City are long gone at the bottom, but the other 3 places are still undecided.

National League South
Looking desperate for Dartford after a dismal lost to Eastbourne Borough. They face Havant and Waterlooville today, one of just 3 teams below them. A must win for both.
Yeovil can secure the title and promotion with a win over Worthing.

National League North
Tamworth can confirm their title by avoiding defeat to Warrington - or if Chorley fail to win.

Scottish Premier League
Old Firm Derby day tomorrow, with Celtic atop the table by 1 point, but Rangers having a game in hand. Feels decisive.
Livingston look dead and buried at the bottom, with the league split coming after the next round of games.

Scottish Championship
Dundee United got a massive win over 2nd placed Raith last time out, giving them a 4 point advantage but having played a game more. A win for the Tannadice club will mean 3rd place Partick Thistle cannot win the league. However, if Queens Park beat Dundee United then Arbroath are relegated, a fate which will be confirmed if Arbroath lose their own game.

Scottish League 1
Falkirk are champions. Edinburgh City, with just 5 points, are well and truly relegated.

Scottish League 2
Stenhousemuir win the title with victory over East Fife.

Bundesliga
The title can't be won just yet, but Stuttgart's hopes could be ended. A Leverkusen win and Bayern defeat would leave Bayer needing just one more win. Leverkusen go to Berlin to play Union while Munich go to Heidenheim - both 2:30 kick-offs today.

Ligue 1
PSG could put a 15 point gap between them and 2nd placed Brest with a win over Clermont today, with Brest facing Metz tomorrow. 6 games left after this weekend.

Serie A
Inter hold a 14 point lead over AC with 8 games to go. Juventus' hopes could be extinguished this weekend, sitting 20 points back. Inter are at Udinese on Monday night, with the knowledge of the AC Milan home result to Lecce today and Juventus' score at home to Fiorentina tomorrow.

La Liga
No games this weekend, with the Copa del Rey final taking centre-stage. It isn't the usual suspects, with Mallorca and Atletico Bilbao battling for the trophy at 9pm tonight.

Difficult choice in lunch time viewing. The East Anglian derby should be good.

apparently nodody INEOS has approached wants the United job so they are preparing to to go next season still with Ten Hag and see how he gets on with the new structure at the club that they are piecing together.

Another great piece.

Hopefully Luton can hold Bournemouth in the relegation grip.

Wouldn't have considered it without reading this.

I'll maybe thank you later.

Luton keep the relegation battle alive, while the minor European place battle really hots-up.
Massive advantage to Spurs in the fight for 4th even though they don't play until tomorrow.

The Championship race very much in Leicesters favour after a win and defeats for Leeds and Ipswich, while Southampton can only draw.
Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday win to really make the relegation battle as tight as possible. Birmingham now sit in the bottom 3.

Portsmouth now 8 points clear with 4 to play, Bolton go within a point of Bolton.
Carlisle are relegated, whilst Port Vale climb above Burton and out of the bottom 4.

A heavy defeat for Mansfield sees Stockport extend their lead, and Wrexham and MK Dons move up. Barrow also beaten.
Grimsby won, making it look like the bottom 3 are fighting for that last survival place.

Dartford WON!! However games in hand mean they are still favourites for the drop.

Bayern lost from 2 up and Leverkusen won to leave Bayer 16 points clear with 18 to play for.

AC Milan won to further Inters wait a little.
