It's hardly a jibe. We are 7th, we haven't finished lower than that in the PL era, the minimum expectations are much much higher than that. It seems reasonable to ask if we are hoping to finisher higher than that.

If a team was on course to break Derby's points record, do you not think their manager would be asked about that? Truth is, if you are failing at an unprecedented level, it would be a dereliction of duty for an interviewer not to ask that question.

Bloody awful. It's hard to even be excited about the FA Cup because that looks like a straight shootout between embarrassing exit to Coventry or insipid defeat to City. Neither is particularly enticing.

I’ve got tickets to the Sheff Utd game, first time I’ve been able to get any this season.
Bought after the cup quarter, was buzzing, now don’t even want to go!

Kids still excited for it though so maybe it’ll be worth it to see a sluggish 1-0 or hard fought 1-1 😂
