Closer than a flea's buttocks

It's a fascinating shootout between the top three with the Saints making a late bid for an auto place. So how is it going to play out?
From our point of view, we must get a win at Boro. If we do that, the other two look at lot more winnable.
Although Leicester have the game in hand, their form has been so poor, it will be hard for them to lift their performances sufficiently to win all their games, but 9 points would take them up. That means they need a win from either West Brom or the Saints. That will be enough to boost them for Preston away and Blackburn at home.
Ipswich have three tough games in a week. Coventry away, after their FA cup semi-final, could be easier than we think. Hull away? I'm not so sure. That leaves Huddersfield at home, surely a win. Seven points in total.
As for Saints, I can see a win at Cardiff, but Leicester will be a tough ask. Stoke at home is a win, but Leeds away, especially if Leeds have banked 6 points form their two fixtures, and are well rested, will be a tougher one to call. Seven points all up for Saints.
This race is so close, I'm going for Leiceser to finish on 97 points, Leeds and Ipswich to finish on 96 points, Leeds go up on goal difference, Saints on 91.
What do you think?

I predict heartbreak for Leicester.

Despite everything I've posted recently about sensing we will only get 1 more point from our final 3 games and miss out in the playoffs I still want to be proved wrong over all this starting Monday night at Boro which if we did manage a win, much to my surprise then I actually then would be prepared to revise my negative prediction into we will get a total of 94 points which I think Ipswich will get and so our superior goal difference would see us finish above them and guarantee a top 2 spot.

Now whether that's with Leicester above us or below us or below Ipswich in 3rd I'm not quite sure yet as I think it will depend on the Leicester v Blackburn result for which a win would probably seal top spot, but anything else would see them fail to get automatic promotion..... but of course unless any of us is a clairvoyant none of us really know the final Championship standings so what will be and all that and there's nothing any of us can do about it.

As an Ipswich fan, I hope you have an IQ of around 200.

I’ll go with that HofF!
But the way we’ve been playing for the last few games, we’ll be lucky to get 6 points.

I reckon

Leicester - 96
Ipswich - 96
Leeds - 92
Southampton - 91

I also think Norwich are going to win the playoffs, just a gut feeling I’ve had for a few weeks.

Not going to predict points tally, but, I do agree
with your final positions here. Have an awful feeling
we'll finish 3rd. And historically, it's the third place
team that tends to miss out.

I also think Norwich win the play offs. Unless Hull
can find a way to sneak in. If they do, I fancy them.

International break has killed us. That and no true
goal scorer or creative #10.

It's anyone's guess really. It's like everyone's pretending to run in slow motion, as if they all actively wanted to avoid promotion.

It would be Leeds to make us suffer…by winning the play-offs 8-7 on penalties having given up hope…
