Disingenuousness of you to cherry pick stats. He has won the Dutch league and performed well in Europe. It doesn't matter who anyone wants as the proof is in the pudding. Liverpool have to move fast as as Barcelona and Bayern have started sniffing around.

At the very worst, it will work out for us better than United and Ten Hag simply because we are Liverpool and you are not.

Given Klopp has finished below United 3 times in last 6 seasons that's a very bold statement.

If Klopp can do that then surely Arne Slot is capable too. Even more so when all your elite players are now the wrong side of 30. Salah might not even be there either next year.

It could work out for you as this is football but given the shoes he has to fill and the aging of your best players he's got one hell of a task that's for sure.

I think you're putting a brave face on and defending your club here. Deep down I don't think this is the man you really wanted.

O'Neill is a good PL coach. He's nowhere near good enough for Liverpool job and especially after Klopp.

You mean Salah, VVD and Robbo? New manager isn't inheriting an ageing squad. Of course he will have work to do. This job is hard even for a top manager like Klopp, but I don't see why we can't continue to be better than United.

Klopp finished below United 3 times but won every single trophy possible in the other seasons. Don't cherry pick stats. If Slot can do the same I will be happy.

Neither is Slot

Well Salah and VVD have been the real difference makers for you. They don't grow them on trees sadly.

I can't see you falling miles off don't get me wrong but he's going to have to pull up trees to replicate Klopp. Can't see it personally. You're back in the 'decent' manager category now. You won't get too many legendary ones back to back. It's how it goes.

O'Neil doing that mnf interview was a pr masterclass, how is he even in the discussion for the Liverpool job
