What a hit though

Whether or not it was " ...his best performance for United in a long time ... " kinda misses the point that all season he has, quite simply, been the ONLY one consistently putting in a United level performance.

He's the best player we've got - both in terms of his performance on the pitch and in positive stats.

The worrying thing is that ageing means the club cannot keep on relying on just him.

Mount, Hojlund and Garnacho are the only other three forward players that should still be there at the start of next seaon.

That won't be the case of course because that's just not the way things seem to be going at the moment. Keeping the duds and moving out the good 'uns seems to be de rigueur.

Every game United start with dalot means the opposition has been guaranteed a minimum of a one goal advantage - it's then left to the dynamism of Fernandes to counter that, and he just shouldn't be expected to always be the primary, or only, means of digging the team out

Another pen? We've not had many this season brainiac. Cole Palmer been getting them all for Chelsea.

We've had about 5 soft ones given against us in the last 2 months also.

Well done for being completely wrong. 😂
