Dalot - really good, or really bad?

Diego Dalot divides opinion, more so than any other United player I can think of in recent times, which puzzles me as he is still only 25, rarely injured. always gives his all, and is in my opinion, very good defensively and offensively.

What is good about him, bad about him, and at just 25, is he good enough to remain in the side once the INEOS rebuild happens?

Our player of the season. The only player who never stops improving. Just imagine him with a stable defense and a good right winger.

So, to.summarise, so far, he is somewhere between really good and decent, which isnt as bad as i was expecting.

You are the only person to use the term "really good".

The less smooth brainer folk put him somewhere between good and decent.

Lots of reports we're in for Frimpong from Leverkusen, who is certainly a better attacking outlet than anything else we have. He has 17 goals in 97 appearances in the Bundesliga, crazy for a wing back.

Bound to be a few in for him given his release clause is 34m.

He's got a fantastic attitude as well which comes across whenever he speaks. Good character to have in the dressing room.

A bargain for whoever gets him.

He's very good, but as others have said, he is phone to mistakes that cost goals. Howerve, it's one of those scenarios where because of our system he gets exposed more often than he would in other teams and so mistakes are inevitable. The higher volume of attacks and chances the we allow will naturally lead to a higher volume of potential mistakes. If he were at city, Arsenal, or even Newcastle, he may still have the same percentage of mistakes per attack, but because of the significantly less attacks, he would be considered "better".

"has all the attributes to be a top fullback"

"In a settled team, Dalot could do well"

"I put him in the pretty good category"

"a lot better than Wan-Bissaka"

"Good player. Could get better"

"The only player (im our squad) who never stops improving"

"He's currently good, not really good. I feel like he could have another level to go yet though"

Overall, it's pretty positive. Good, player with room to improve.
