How do we approach Sunday?

With the race now down to two we obviously are not favourites but if we win all our games there could still be a twist or two. With that in mind how we approach Sunday will be important. To me it feels like we've got two options firstly do we come out fast and try to blast them and try to win it early given they might be a bit sluggish having not played for two weeks and their confidence might have taken a bit of a knock after getting battered by Newcastle. The possible risk being we don't get ahead and then tire as the game goes on, that was a real concern for me at halftime against Chelsea I thought we'd struggle given the amount of games we've played recently but the opposite happened we got stronger so its difficult know how that could possibly turn out.

Alternatively do we just sit in like we did against City and just wait for them to over commit and pick them off, with their way of playing there should be plenty of spaces to play in. If we do that you would back us to keep them out their attack on paper ain't great certainly nowhere near as good as City and we managed to blunt them.

In terms of team selection I've wanted to see rotation but I think we have to go in with the same team again if all are available. Can't afford for any mistakes in terms of selection and tactics.

Surely just continuing playing as you are and you’ll batter them.

City is obviously hard work! And
🤣 Jealous of City. Their pretty football can't be bought with money. Just look at clubs that have overspent them like United and Chelsea how come they aren't as good.

Just bought all the best players and manager.

City fans: “We didn’t buy out success.”

Chelsea and city fans just can't admit what their clubs are (or were, for Chelsea), it's so weird. The mental gymnastics are incredible.

I think your tactics should be to try a lot of really risky and flashy passes around your defence, only go for challenges with your studs up (preferably against your own players) and try and lot of sudden twists and turns in uncomfortable positions. Please feed these important tactics back to your club.

Realistically the best thing to do is man mark the midfield three and then put pressure on Romero/Porro particularly when they are on the ball so they don't create.

Similarly to what Everton/Newcastle/Luton have all done. Meaning you are conceding having a numerical advantage in the front line - but BJ/Werner/Son can't string three passes together or do something that isnt 100% direct 100% of the time.

They think all their players are better than ours, they think their managers' better than ours, they've also had 15 days rest and they're at home. Onus is on them.

Just play methodical, keep it tight and pick them off.
