As i am quite sure we will not magically improve just because a new manager is in place (Moyes, LvG, Jose, Carrick, Ole, ETH) id be happy to see ETH stay to wind up SE85 & Robb some more. Guy tells everyone ETH out with every single comment he makes, extreme repetition

You're not fooling anyone with this constant defence of ETH. You went so hard on the defensive stand point that you're not willing to accept abysmal performance after abysmal performance.

So, is this what it's all about, telling the world you were right when he's removed or if he makes it work under a structure you'll gladly say, oh it wasn't ETH, it was someone else?!

In your desperation to discredit ETH you have stated last season was all down to Marcus' goals and easy fixtures in our run up to the cup final win! You go to extraordinary lengths to play down his efforts last season as you do this season. Surely, if he's responsible for the terrible showings this season he should be credited for the positives of last season?!

Read what I said in this thread, at no point do I say I am happy with our football. I have been consistent with my views.

Our views are aligned on certain aspects - we want the best for the club, we want to see controlled, attacking football. Our views, however, diverge on everything else because I am willing to approach it with a pragmatic view, something you fail to grasp because cognitively you are impaired

It's not unreasonable to want ETH sacked based on performances and results really. He could have few complaints.

I think it's probably for the best if he goes in the Summer but I'd also be delighted if he stays and proves me wrong. If he is manager next sesson then he'll have my support but he'll also have to do a hell of a lot better!

Interesting but would it be fair to appraise his managerial performance so harshly given the high number of injuries in key areas, given the form of players within the spine of the team? Things could have been even worse, results wise, if fortune didn't favour us in some instances. Granted, it's been dire for most parts. ETH deserves an extended stay for his first season alone and appraised formally under a proper structure, at least for one more season.

If he departs because the new structure want a clean slate it would be regrettable but also understandable. Given the number of areas in need of repair I doubt the DoF will want to reset the footballing side when the options of suitable replacements are limited. ETH is more than sufficient for this stage of the project but his 3rd season will be less forgiving, if the structure delivers and ETH does not.

So ETH to the England set up and Southgate to utd?

That's not true. I'd say like I always say. No manager outside of Klopp or Pep can save United, and they'll never manage United so you're facked for the foreseeable future.
