Quite funny to see how quickly some people have written Rasmus off. He’s had a pretty decent debut season in terms of total goals and has the raw attributes to develop further. Excellent finish and nice to see him get a goal where he’s taken on himself. He’s got two or three of those for us now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I find it bizarre. His conversion rate is good. We just don't create him many chances. Still work to do on his game, but any striker we sign should be a backup option for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think we need to view any striker signing not so much as backup or starter but as a regular option in rotation.

Rasmus still has some key areas to improve and shouldn't be expected to carry the goal scoring burden from the CF position by himself. Given he's a young player, we also need to be able to dip him in and out.

I want to see us find another CF who is more experienced and brings to the table the attributes that Hojlund doesn't yet - someone who can bring his teammates into the game and drop in and get hold of the ball. Doesn't need to be a prolific finisher necessarily either.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know just the fella....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I van Toney, he would be perfect.

Look at the love between Bruno and ETH

😍
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look at Garnacho, Amad, Hojlund, Mainoo. That makes me happy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
All four thanks to Erik
----------------------------------------------------------------------
About to burn out Garnacho.
Amad losing playing time to Antony (criminal again)
Playing Mainoo at defensive midfield (paired with Eriksen no less, again criminal)
Playing Hojlund as a target man all season long. 21 year old.

He'll kill them before he makes them great
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your daft if you believe that nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But it isn't. And you know this. You all try to be patient but there a reason for all of this. Why hasn't he been starting Amrabat? Starting Eriksen instead in midfield? Fully fit, paid million to loan him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Testing season, next season we won't have any of them especially Eriksen, Amrabat, even Casemiro I reckon.

We have to wait and see what the new structure looks like and how the squad takes shape. ETH is going nowhere for now, so you need to suck it up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Amrabat is maybe the most annoying thing here. We have a loan agreement, buy clause. He would have given us 6 points this season. He's going to leave and we have to go find 3 midfielders again. This and many more us on him. I cannot forget it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Amrabat is not good enough, why should his loan be made permanent when we've seen so little of him? And when we have he's underwhelmed, he's too slow on the ball, when under pressure and makes too many unforced errors.

We can and hopefully will do better in the transfer market.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We could get the best players in the world, but we need a manager that knows something as simple as Amrabat>Eriksen. These decisions seems little, but they are difference between good and great manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you're a great manager?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So I need to be great manager to know Eriksen should not start any games for us? Do you guys even hear yourselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He didn't start this game. Stop moaning.

He won't feature next season.

Help. I'm confused.

https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/461972
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's true, I'm fickle.
I watch Amad, Mainoo, Garnacho, and think how well he's introduced them.
I see Hojlund and think what a good signing.

Then I see Antony, the opposition strolling through our midfield and think get rid.

Finally I don't know how things would turn out if he gets another season
So as allowed, I changed my mind, which I may do again, who knows.

Of course there is nothing wrong with changing your mind.

However doing it a week after an article contrary to your current opinion on the back of one good result is not going to sit right with most on here. They will ridicule it for good reason.

...............

I watch Amad, Mainoo, Garnacho, and think how well he's introduced them.

...................

Amad should have been introduced a long time ago. I think ETH has been poor in keeping faith with Antony.

On Hojland, time will tell if he will be a good signing. He isn't one right now. He should never have been thrust into the first team the way he has.

Even now VC I'm still unsure.
It's been a poor season, with some poor football, and worst of all not stiffening the midfield.
But when I look at our young players I think there is the basis of a good team there, something to build on.
I do think ETH is good, not perfect, with young players.
And from what I read we will soon have others knocking at the door.
So when I see us lose to average sides I want him gone.
When I see us win an exciting game with three young players starring, I think let's give him time to finish what he's started.
Finally injuries and off field problems are sure to have disrupted his plans.

laissez-faire ? That's probably the best to describe your deposition given the stage of life you're at, going with the flow, life is too short to take a hard line stance.

People should respect this and I respect you for the fact you are honest about it!

Laissez faire, in France means being content to let things take their own course.

it does in England too.

So nothing to do with being to old to have your own opinion and accepting indifference and going with the flow.
