Saturday football...

Not a lot of English football today, and most leagues are dead across Europe...

League 1
The play-off final between Bolton Wanderers and Oxford United at 4:15pm.
Bolton finished 10 points ahead of their rivals, and are heavy favourites. Oxford haven't been in the second tier since 99. They had a brief spell in the top flight in the mid 80s and won the League Cup in 86. But between 2005 and 2010 they found themselves in non-league. They will draw some inspiration from Lutons rise back to the top flight.
For Bolton it is just 12 years since they fell from the PL. They fell all the way to the 4th tier, and it is 5 seasons since they last played Championship football.

Bundesliga
Can Leverkusen do it and complete the unbeaten league season? Augsburg are their final opponent. The CL places are secure, so it is Eintracht Frankfurt, Hoffenheim and Freiburg who are fighting for the minor European places.
At the bottom, FC Koln need a big win away to Heidenheim and hope Union Berlin suffer an equally large defeat to Freiburg. Mainz and Bochum could still be pulled into the play-off place.
All games at 2:30.

Scottish Premiership
Celtic title secured, Rangers CLQ place secured. Hearts and Kilmarnock are in Europa and St Mirren in ECL.

Eredivisie
Relegation/Promotion play-offs. Dordrecht (2-2) and Emmen meet, Den Haag (3-2) De Graafschap in another. NAC Breda already into semi.

Serie A
Atalanta can seal CL football with a win at Lecce today.
Torino still have a chance of Europe and host AC Milan.

Primeira Liga
The big game on Final Day is Braga vs Porto. A home win gives Braga 3rd ahead of Porto. Direct qualification to the Europa is the reward.

La Liga
10th placed Getafe and 11th placed Alaves play in a real mid-table battle.

Scottish Championship
Second leg of the promotion/relegation final. Hamilton (League One) go to Inverness (Championship) with a 2-1 lead.

Scottish League Two
Non League East Kilbrides bid for league football takes them to Stranraer level from the first leg (2-2). Big day for the brides.

Womens Super League
Chelsea and City level on points, and Chelsea go to Man Utd with a 2 goal GD advantage. Man City go to Aston Villa, with Chelsea also scoring significantly more if City can match the GD.

Of course, most sporting eyes will be on Saudi and Tyson Fury fighting Oleksandr Usyk. The undercard highlights include Mairis Briedis attempting to regain the IBF Cruiserweight title against Jai Opetaia. Joe Cordina puts his IBF belt up against Anthony Cacace in the super-featherweight division.

There is the Italian Grand Prix Qualification, The PGA Championship goes into day 3 with a fair bit of off course drama and Schauffele leading the way on 11 under. Scottie Scheffler isn't far behind on 9 under after a strong round of 66 and an arrest making his Friday eventful. The IPL continues in cricket, as does the County Championship in the UK.

Good luck to anyone having a bet. Have a few beers, enjoy the weather if it is good, and blow some bubbles in preparation for tomorrow when hopefully Citys dreams will fade and die!!!
