Rather Spurs win League than City Frauds!

The Premier League and FA must own this mess. Letting oil rich, human rights abusing states purchase football clubs.

These owners have spent their lives with no consequences for doing what they wanted, their money made everything better.

You dance with the devil you are going to get burned. The only Tyranny is watching City ruining the whole European competition. Rather Spurs win league than these cheats.

only 3 players have moved to an EPL team for 100m or less, one was Grealish the others were Enzo Fernandes and Declan Rice.

the 19 most expensive transfers to EPL teams is made up as follows:

Man City - 3
Chelsea - 6
Arsenal - 3
Man Utd - 5
Liverpool - 2

Chelsea originally inflated the market back in 2003. City learnt from their mistakes and selling clubs and competitors became more savvy to owners with limitless cash guzumping them in the market. Prior to that United would go out and top up the squad with one or two £20-30m headline signings (Rio & Rooney for example). This was the exception not the rule. Aside from the exception the market was more balanced prior to Chelsea and Abramovich.

City may not have been at the top end many times bit that ignores the sheer amount they've spent since 2008. They are more responsible for the era of £40-50m players being a standard price for a player irrespective of quality.

Chelsea under Abramovich and the new owner yes, Arsenal no, not off the back of them spending £100m once. You're saying because Arsenal have bought the most expensive player 3 times (since when BTW? In PL history?) They are more likely to spend £100m than City in 2024.

Anyone with eyes knows this simply isn't true.

Whodunnit

Two teams that have been mismanaged both on and off the pitch for a number of years. They are trying to catch uo with City, LFC & Arsenal so are likely to spend more. That doesn't mean City haven't inflated the market.

Yet City are up there with United in spending over a billion on their squad (£900m+ NET) in the last ten years.

thats a different point the point in discussion is in regards to individual player prices that EPL teams need to pay due to the amount paid by the teams aforementioned.

The isn't just an issue of how much a player is bought for but also throwing ridiculous wages at them, this is what happened when Arsenal sold a lot of players to City.
Haaland went for £50M (plus £50M to his agents) but his wages are £400K a week

Man City and Chelsea are the main culprit in this

Yes in the past Man Utd would spend whatever to get a player, they guzumped arsenal on a lot of deals, but at the same time they were very commercially savvy so could afford it, they were about 10-15 years (commercially) ahead of arsenal who was their closest competitor.
