Bielsaball

13 games in charge. 7 wins. 4 draws and 2 defeats. Beaten both Brazil and Argentina 2-0 and last night a p 4-0 cruise past Mexico.

Their 4th was classic Bielsa!

I still say we would have been better keeping him and going down with him if he couldn’t save us.

I can understand why they sacked him but I still think they just didn’t have the balls to ride it out.

Who would have him back?

I would take him back after he’d taken a course in defensive tactics…I’d want to see his certificate he had finished the course.

Take him back in a heartbeat

Can't fault him for failing with Ortas awful signings.

He was too honourable to challenge Ortas signings.

"Bielsa would probably have left at the end of the season in any case so this argument about keeping him is entirely irrelevant.
I don't think we invested to build a team that reflected a Bielsa team and that's where Radrizanni and Orta went wrong."

But would he have left?..

Even if he would have, the chances were greater that he'd have left his replacement with a team in the Premiership!..

As for the numpty Queen, does it really matter what Leeds United do, because he'd find something to satisfy his needs no matter what they do!..

Would have him back in a heartbeat. Totally heartbreaking when he left.

Don’t care about the heavy defeats we suffered under him. That was always likely to have been a short term situation which the maestro would have corrected given time.

But above all, the club had a soul and identity which so many of us identified with. It was the best time to be a Leeds fan for years. I genuinely didn’t care what other fans said about us, we knew we had someone special and everyone else could “jog on”.

The moment Stuey Dallas missed that one-on-one against Spurs in that 4-0 home loss, I knew Bielsa had to go. It's like the moment when your beloved spaniel takes his last visit to the vet. As much as it hurts, it has to be done. It was over then, it is still over now. We have another spaniel.

The way people go on about heavy loses, when Bielsa came to us it was known that his style of play would invite them, he even said his aim was to score one more than the opponent!..

Goals against never really bothered him!..

Funny, but when it worked it was magic, and it did bring something that's been missing for a long time around Elland Road back!..

It brought the fans back together, or should I say for the numpty Queen and one or two others, it brought most back together!..

The signings were the issue. He made a bang average championship team into a PL team. We should have built on that but Orta made some right shockers. Did we actually sign anyone decent when we were promoted?

“Goals against, never really bothered him!…”

Yeah I noticed that too!!

And 7 — 6 score lines in our favour was never realistic was it Germany?

And outside of penalty shoot outs you don't see them either!..
