Why couldn't West Indies bat like this each first innings?

494-4 at tea on the 2nd day. They should bat as long as possible. A declaration only gives India the chance to score lots of easy runs on a dead pitch.

Neon, the leg spinner's googly generally comes from the back of the hand (at least mine did).

And yes, the whole idea is to keep the batter in the dark as to the grip on the ball and the angle of your wrist until the very last second.

Yeah everytime Liverpool win the opponents were better I geuss you didnt see the game..
As for this current game it was a draw at the end of the first day.. There is no way on a wicket like this will you get a result. Which is a shame for test cricket..

Yes but in England given 4/5 full days most matches are over.. This one will be still going into day 7..
