Very true, sir, very true. Which explains why Mark Gower ranks so highly - it's not that he's such a great player, but that he's a lynchpin in a team that doesn't have too much in the way of superstars to distract everyone's attention. If he were to move to another club, he could be useless.

To be fair, when i was flicking through to the page where they had Rooney and Gower, and the question...Who is the better player....i was surprised
Every team has a player who is their heartbeat, money cant always buy you that and STATS cant always find you that player... and for what its worth i hope Swansea stay up this season

RRP, when I opened the first page, I was sort of expecting them to say it wasn't Rooney. But, to my eternal embarrassment, I was trying to work out who the Bolton player was... I didn't even realise it was the Swans kit he was wearing
I hope Swansea stay up as well, they are playing decent football. They just need someone with a killer instinct up front to bury some of these golden chances they've had.

leopold - Oh i was slightly different, i noticed it was the Swans kit...but i didnt even recognize him, thought it was someone out of Big Brother
I have enjoyed the few Swansea games i have seen, always nice to see a team trying to win every game, even though it may not be the best option for them to stay up
No offense to Stoke, but i would much rather a team like Swansea who try and play the game be in the PL over Stoke
Either way i do love my STATS!

I agree with you that teams in the PL should play football, but there's worse perpetrators than Stoke, surely.

Hmmm true, i just think with the amount of money Stoke spent over the summer, they still went for 6ft5 giants, rather than the guys who can play football?
Oh i have a lot of STATS up my sleeve
