Bangladesh v Pakistan, 1st ODI, Dhaka

Bangladesh won the toss and decide to bat.

Very slow start... Losing Tamim Iqbal after 4 balls! I think he was rushed back too quick from a knee injury. Can't understand why Imrul Kayes isn't in the team. On so many occasions when Tamim goes early, Imrul plays the slow, steady innings to put up a respectable total!

Only 2 runs on the board after 5 overs and 1 wicket!!

20 overs: 56/5... Shakib & Nasir Hossain start to show abit of resilience. Slow & boring game though...

Case reopened.

Kallis' performance graph is on downward side these day and he is definitely in the twilight of his career whereas Afridi is producing matchwinning performance consistently these days.

Case reopened.

Afridi was and is rubbish at test cricket. Where as Kaliis in one of the best all rounders ever. Just check is record as proof. Anyway Afridi is more a bowler at odi level. The facts being as a batsmen hes only scored what a 3/4 hundreds in nearly 400 odi games.

Kallis is inarguably the best allrounder after Imran but atm he is in the twilight of his career.Afridi in ODI cricket is definitely amongst the best.

Imran's success as captain and his record against the Windies of 80's takes him centimeter above Kallis.

Neon you are entitled to your opinion but Kallis as a bowler was effective without being spectacular while Imran was world class. When it comes to batting Imran has a very good average for a batsman in the 70s and 80s era but in his 2nd half of the career he averaged over 50 as a batsman which makes he the best all rounder for me.

Kash

On top of that he was a Big match player and singlehandedly led to test wins against India and Windies in 80's.Pakiistan was the only team in 80's that held their heads high against the Windies and that was primarily because of Imran's bowling and leadership.Needless to mention, his inspirational leadership in 92 WC is simply insurmountable.
