Over the next few weeks, those of us who bid for London 2012 Olympics tickets will at least have some indication of our success based on what comes put of our bank accounts or appears on our credit card!!
Has the whole process been done the best way or was it a bit dishonest and nothing more than a way to try and drag as much money as possible from people without saying they overcharged but allowed people to choose what they paid?
Truth is, I'm sure the majority aren't entirely certain how precisely it will have been decided whether they got tickets or not - in other words - HOW bidding for higher priced tickets has actually advantaged them. OR has it????
It is supposed for example that you could bid for 1 ticket @£50 to see the 100M Final and get lucky, while some that have spent into the £100s or even £1,000s on various events might land up with nothing with regard to the most popular session!! To me, that's a tad unfair.
I guess most are resigned to saying "Oh well, too late now anyway!"......and wait with baited breath. Including me. I've spent much more than I would normally on tickets, but less than £1,000.
What other thoughts do people out there have?
Are people getting the tickets they bid for

I've applied for tickets and am hoping just to get to one or two events with my nieces and nephews. Obviously it would be brilliant to get everything you want but if i can just get one or even two events I'll be delighted.
I understand the concerns of some people who think there may be a lck of transparency in the process and have my own doubts about it as well - however, whatever way they do it they're going to dissapoint people. The corporate issue is a pain but, sadly it is a necessary evil. Of course if any of us were able to get tickets via that route i doubt we'd complain!
Anyway, I hope you get some tickets, for at least 1 event of your choosing, along with everyone who has applied.
