Good news if you are an England fan - and a true cricket fan as well of course. I really do rate Broad highly - its sometimes hard to imagine he is only 25 as he has been around so long. A healthy batting average of nearly 30, and most importantly 132 wickets. I always reckon a bowlers best years are around the 27- 30 years of age mark so what else is there to come? Hopefully a lot more!
Bell is a tough, mean little competitor who epitomises the true 'bulldog spirit' of England. I always thought he was class but there have been question marks over his temperament up till now.
If you were to ask me who my favourite players were for England at present I would probably have to say these two. Not for me the flashiness of Pieterson or the durability of Cook (though both are very fine players of course). As the song says, 'When the going gets tough..." and Broad and Bell are very tough indeed!
Broad and Bell fit - the tough get going!

This is the same Broad that everyone wanted dropped after Sri Lankan series. I expect Broad to break down once he realises these UAE tracks will not suit his bowling.

An English bowler who averages well over 30 in bowling while playing the majority of his cricket in England is pretty poor.
