One more loss and this will be indias worst test team . Yes you've read it right, the worst in the indian history of test cricket. If you are a srilankan fan and you think your team is doing so bad, then their is no word to describe india's misery. ganguly has already clarified that this indian team cannot win abroad. between 2000 and 2008 india have never lost by an innings margin, and in the last 6 months every match is pretty much an innings lost. Atleast india vs england test match used to go till day 4 and sometimes day 5. Here in australia even passing day 2 is hard.

dont lose the faith viru, its the same set of players who have brought your country some glories as well, and you cannot outrule them all by calling it the worst in your history. I know they have been hopeless past few months and surely most of them are past they cricketing days, but you should be realistic, its the management who should be blamed, you cannot stick with the same set of players forever and sooner or later it was got to happen. They should have prepared some back up beforehand, not only for the sake of indian test cricket but also for these players to have left the game with dignity. It surely wouldnt be great sight to see a player of laxman's calibur being dropped at the end of his career.

After watching the same thing happen to OZ......there is no quick remedy in simply replacing a player with another.
This new player not only has to learn how to play against better opposition like he has never seen before but also work in as a team member and get combinations happening.....
As with OZ it could take years if all of a sudden 3 top line players retire in the same summer......good luck because cricket needs a strong India..

well neon you could say that. btw what are your thoughts about the 4th test. who do you think shud play. I for one want rohit sharma to play. Just to see how a good player he is? Youngsters have generally fought hard to their best abilities in this series. its just that they are limited to do things as they havent played a lot of cricket in this area.

I was going to put a bet of a couple of bob on Tendulkar making his elusive 100 in Adelaide until I seen the lousy odds on offer....$3.00 for a century and $1.30 to go home empty....forget it, I'll find something with better odds to lose my money on other then Sachin...

neon,
dhoni is banned for the next test and sehwag is your vice captain, if he gets dropped too who in your opinion would lead the side.

neon, my first drop would have been sehwag, but unfortunately he is our so called vice captain. Was just watching his melbourne innings where he scored 195. He had so much application, and so many variety of shots. now he only has one. swing, edge, and before the ball reaches to the wicket keeper his back to the pavilion. i have a strong feeling that vvs will not be dropped. bcci still feels that this is just a one off. i hope to see a win.
