Like how can you be anything but immensely pisssed off when you know that something is so painfully obvious but people in charge who are supposed to be experts are less intelligent than random fans.
If there were complex issues holding us back I’d be more patient and forgiving. But this is stuff a child could spot. And we’re the ones suffering as a result of it.
There are defo top players in the squad but how long the manager will need to sort out the best starting line up and stick with it to allow them to gell is an issue?
Sure you'll click at some point

Result imo didn't reflect performance - we should have got a little more
However at the same time starting Enzo and Sanchez was dumb and we paid for these choices
Fofa had a poor 1st half but much better by the end really woke up.
Palmer better in the middle......who would've guessed?
As long as Enzo M learns ill be happy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why does he need to learn that Sanchez shouldn’t be our first choice?
Literally all of us knew this already. And we’re not paid millions for our football brains. We also signed like 4 other keepers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't disagree with this.....unfortunately all our keepers seem to be no3s

lol, I remember when you were a notorious fence sitter
I’m okay with the manager forming his own opinions instead of looking at what happened last season and making his choices there.
these aren’t opinions bro. These are facts.
CSTP the seasons just started, calm down.

True, but it needs to be quick if you are getting the same answer. If he sticks with Enzo and Sanchez into Sept with 0 improvements I will be calling for his head, simple as. Honestly as CSTP said we unfortunately have a tonne of evidence that both are sheet
I could be calm if these shortcomings were not already well established.
I’m sure you already knew this stuff many months ago.
That’s the only reason I’m so critical of the new manager already. These are not new problems.
Plus selling our captain in favour of a new racist captain who isn’t as good is also a good reason to be annoyed, in my opinion.
Anyway I’m gonna go back to watching Harry Potter.
You can’t complain about Chelsea then go watch crap films. Unless you plan on doing the same with them. In which case I’m all for it
Harry Potter is considerably more enjoyable than Chelsea. Although the films are not a patch on the books.

How long is James out for?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One Game ban i thought
Kinda with some of the comments that we did ok as a performance against City, but also on a more macro scale makes me sad. Cos I fully think we were ‘ok’ or whatever, we didn’t get trounced, and then I also think the win from City looked and seemed inevitable. Like I think you could swap us for any other mid table team and they could do that.
Early in our process of becoming a better team. We need time. And less panic.
Idk if it’s panic when the panic has been going on for years though
I'm rarely if ever enthused by a defeat but i feel there is scope for good things...it just wasn't going to be today
Would like to see a front 5 of:
CM: Lavia Caceido
AM: Palmer Nkunku Neto
ST: Jackson
Think we'd look pretty balanced defensively in midfield - not much progressive passing but both can carry the ball forward well. We'd be relying on Palmer a fair bit for creativity but I'd expect Nkunku to chip in too.

Very, very early.
Not too worried about the result against City - sad that it was almost a foregone conclusion before the match, but alas, that's where we are right now. And in all honesty, we performed better than I expected us to.
Think Maresca let his philosophy take a bit of a backseat and was more pragmatic (which is a v. promising sign). Something definitely needed so we didn't start the season with a horror show.

Does look good on paper. I agree Caicedo and Lavia showed promise. Will have to see though as obvious big omission being Enzo.

3 I think
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, he’s suspended for 3 games. But I was hoping to find out how long his injury will keep him out for? Does anyone know what his injury even is? Hoping it’s not his hamstring again.
Gusto is our first choice RB. I've moved on from James already sadly. I don't think he makes it as a top flight player with his recurring injuries.
Very happy to be proved wrong though of course.
