I will not play Lumb. He is poor agains spin. This might not be popular but it's time to bring Ravi back in. He likes sub cont tracks and is a decent economical bowler which is something that is needed on that batsman paradise.

My team would be:

1. Alex Hales
2. Craig Kieswetter (Wkt)
3. Eoin Morgan
4. Ravi Bopara
5. Johnny Bairstow
6. Luke Wright
7. Tim Bresnan
8. Stuart Broad (Capt)
9. Graeme Swann
10. Danny Briggs
11. Steven Finn

Jade, this woman is one ridiculous bowler. No point in having him in the team. He has a lot to learn.

England need to play two spinners that would then enable them to bring in Bresnan instead of Patel.

Morgan needs to bat at 3... Australia's best T20 batsman bats at 3. As does India's, Pakistan's... So should England's.

England need stability in the middle order, Bopara and Bairstow can provide that, if Morgan, Ravi and Johnny Bairstow cannot play spin then none of them will. It's all mental rather than technique.

You have to stick with Kiewswetter. No point in chucking Bairstow as W/K because that will show weakness. And, Kieswetter's best place to bat is as an opener, especially if Morgan comes in at 3...

You could always try rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

when u hv a bowler as a captain, then u know the team has problems. Honestly broad doesnt fit in the equation and he is the reoson why England has to go with 3 pacers.

England cud hv won this but stupid strategy by them is to bring bairstow ahead of morgan who is their best batsman is the main reoson. u only hv 20 overs why save ur best batsman for later? use them as quick as possible.

I cant see why a team would have 7 front line batsmen in a 20 over match if the first 6 can't do it then they are very poor.In this format I think a team should be well balanced with the best five bowlers.

Ravi = Bottleless
Bring him back = laughable

I wouldn't have Ravi anywhere near the team, but I'm afraid you have no choice but to bring him back. He won't do any worse that's for sure.

Can't have KP. Don't want Ravi. Keep Luke Wrong, who will do well against minnows. The problem is there are no minnows in S8's. NZ may be. But lately they are managing a good show.
