Forest have a punchers chance.
Shows City are vulnerable at the back.
"Gary Neville, what a wanchor" rings out in the City ground.
I think the end to our game might make for a slow start for City and Forest seem to have come out with an attacking line up and mindset.
Obviously scoring early against City is pointless tho cos it gives them 85 mins to knock 5 past you

The 3-0 at HT shows we are the best team in the league at the moment. The second half shows what can happen when you lose momentum even to a lesser team. Thats our only hope for City dropping points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The 3-0 scoreline in the first half flattered us though. Even 2-0 would probably have flattered us and we should have conceded at least one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really. We were always going to attack Spurs main weakness at the moment. Which is counter attack and set pieces. I think its too easy to forget that this team is still position to qualify for the CL. We should have never lost to Villa with the same attitude.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My point is I'd hardly say the first half shows we're the best team in the league. Scored an own goal, got fortunate with a VAR decision, Romero and Son had good chances to score and we had just 28% possession. We actually became more assertive on the ball in the 2nd and were looking better than we had all match till Raya's howler.

I understood that. My point was that we set up to counter attack. Our defensive line was a bit too high for my liking in the first half but obviously Arteta wanted to compress space in a very small area on the pitch. Chelsea played Spurs the same way and I think Arteta took a lesson from Poch. And I expected us to adjust in the second half. Like we did against Chelsea. (who also had more possession btw) If we hadn't made silly errors from a lack of concentration, we would have won that 3-0.
I doubt City will do that to Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Lol.......Spurs worst loss this season (in terms of just being rendered completely impotent) was at home against City in the FA Cup where they had one shot all match.

We'll see.
A week's rest until Bournemouth then.
I have to say, a brilliant week from the boys. Wolves away, Chelsea home, spurs away is bloody tough. 8 goals, 2 clean sheets, 9 points. Fantastic.
Shame. The injury and Forest lost concentration. Gibbs-White howler. Forest were doing really good before that! Should have made the sub.
