Either that or Chemical Jim increasing your debt.

No contest really as your concerns for Human Rights have been mentioned dozens, if not hundreds of times on here.

They’ve spent a lot of money, surely they must have won a lot of trophies?

I actually enjoy watching Man Utd play again. Sort of reminds me of the SAF days of attack attack attack.

Yes i’d say we’re still in transition but instead of going round in circles we seem to be transitioning in the right direction after spending 1bn, which was earned by not breaking the rules!!

Was it “poisonous, rotten” or very poor quality cuts of meat Bo?

Hey! If it’s in any of the football governing bodies rule books I expect a full investigation followed by an massive fine and expulsion from the Premier League and a ban from European football!

You’re not wrong there -

An investigation by the Granada Television/ITV investigative journalism series World in Action was broadcast on 28 January 1980. Compilation of the programme began in February 1979. It alleged there were illegal share deals involving large cash payments and false documentation, secret cash payments to council and company staff to win contracts for his business, and secret payments by United from a special fund for inducements to sign footballers throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In one case in the early 1960s, it was alleged that a bribe of £5,000 was paid to the parents of Peter Lorimer, a promising young player whom the club had wanted to recruit. The money was later returned when the player chose Leeds United instead though this was a clear breach of football association rules.[7] The programme explained how Edwards quietly acquired his majority shareholding at Manchester United in the early 1960s and then bolstered his family's holding in the late 1970s in prepaparation for the controversial rights issue.[5]

In 1966, a report by Manchester Council complained of the bad supplies they were getting and said the firm delivered the worst meat to the poorest parts of the city. In 1978 the company was fined under the Food and Drugs Act (not sure what act this refers to but the link is wrong) for poor quality and excess fat in the meat supplied for Cheshire County Council's schools.[8] On 12 February, Manchester Police said they were going to investigate the allegations made against both Louis Edwards and Manchester United.

Thanks for providing the evidence that Bo was wrong on his claims of “poisonous”, “rotten” meat and that indeed it was just poor quality!

As for the other stuff so an investigative journalist creates a program for tv in which it says and I quote “alleged”!

Do you know if there was a criminal investigation or an investigation by the inland revenue based on the tv’s allegations? and if so was he charged?

If you don’t know the answers im sure “Wiki” will hold the answers🀣 you know the most reliable source of information on the internet! 🀣🀣🀣

He died just before he could be charged.

FYI, 'Tainted Meat' is a major cause of E-Coli and Novavirus, food poisoning in other words so the meat could be described as posionous.

Maybe we can move onto his son next, another charmer.

“Tainted meat” where does it say “tainted meat” all i can see is “poor quality and excess fat in the meat supplied for Cheshire County Council's schools.” Info - kindly supplied by your good pal Ashtonianblue!

His company were fined for the sale of the “poor quality meat!”

As for the financial irregularities at Utd at his time of ownership “The case was dropped because of a lack of evidence.”

For anyone trying to make a point and then post an article from I presume “Wiki” which says the claims against him and Utd were “alleged” and it goes on to say “the case was dropped due to lack of evidence” and you also managed to pee on Bo’s fireworks at the same time! well done you I applaud you!
