Spurs just ran out of juice I think. Impossible to keep up their style of play non stop for 90 mins and not expect injuries.

We should beat them but honestly who knows with us atm. But I wouldn't put it past Spurs to beat City to give Arsenal a clean run at the title just because their club seems to be cursed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They have only played 37 games this season so should never be out of juice

If there was no such thing as social media I’d be desperate for Arsenal to win the league once we dropped out. But honestly they have some really horrendous posters on here that makes me want City to win it.

I feel really stupid for even saying it, but hey ho.

Yeah this. I’d say run out of ideas if anything, or just been found out and sussed.

But they have a manager insistent on kamikaze sprinting in both directions for 90 mins. That's unsustainable. But they are also nowhere near as good as their fans were making out in the first half of the season.

Welcome aboard with me, Kash and Robbing term. I have an office full of fecking annoying Arsenal fans (plus the caants on here) which is my excuse.

Apart from the Wembley train queue for the fa cup semi final a couple of years ago, can’t remember when I’ve spoken to a City fan.

There was that loon on the live thread that kept calling us cowards because we weren’t on there when he wanted us to be. I asked him to provide actual real life examples of situations he’d been in that required some level of ‘bravery’. Silence.

I find it a really bizarre way of life, where people live their lives behind a keyboard as opposed the real world. I don’t like it…..

It’s something I keep trying to get across to my daughter, that life should be about actual experiences. It took a lot of getting through to her, but I think it’s slowly getting through. She’s going to Costa Rica after her exams have finished for a two week conservation trip. Helping out at an animal sanctuary in the rain forest and helping with the sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs, as well as a trek through the forests.

I really had to work hard to get her to go, but it’s definitely a once in a lifetime experience she’ll never forget. That’s what it’s all about for me.

Haha

I live in Manchester. Both my neighbours are United fans. House after Liverpool fans and the house after the other end Spurs fans. No City fan anywhere near me.

Also love the face that City winning hurts United fans so much. Imagine that was Everton lol.

I assume it’s not lost on you that despite feeling that way (and I completely agree btw), you want City to win the title because of social media and a couple of bell-sniffs on this site? All people sitting behind keyboards!

I’ve never had a Facebook, Twitter/X, insta or any other social media account. Just don’t see the appeal. This board and LinkedIn (for work) is all I use. Maybe that sways me, who knows. But the way I see it, if City are cheats then by extension they cheated us out of two league titles. And I’ll be damned if I’m going to support a team who cheated us out of something.

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

Not bothered with who wins the title. Good luck to whoever wins

Although as mentioned by Neo, it’s up to said team to save football is without a doubt the saddest thing on this site. What’s even sadder is it is used by supposed adults

I know, I said it was a stupid thought process

The point is, I know it’s stupid, but there are those that accept it as normal…

The only part that does make me smile is that there were a couple of the Arsenal window-lickers who were delighted that the Doku incident wasn’t a pen because we both dropped points. Had that been given then Arsenal may well be on the verge of the title right now….

Anyways expecting a few goals in the game today, let’s hope we score more than them

This. Not being able to take a few jibes from some tools and if affecting you so much that you want cheats to win is pathetic. Anybody not wanting Arsenal to win over cheats is something I can't understand.

My next door neighbour is an Arsenal fan, my boss, who never shuts up about Arsenal before out morning meeting, every, single, morning, is an Arsenal fan. Does it affect me more than cheats winning? Of course not. I have a backbone.

My hero

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

Jackson has now scored more goals than Nunez

posted 1 week, 6 days ago

We deffo need investment in our forwards

Nunez's ability is top class, but his composure is almost Conference league.

Jota didnt score for a year once and has huge injury problems.

Salah is still a class act, however he's only scored one goal from open play this year.

Diaz is probably in the best form of the bunch, however he still isn't very prolific.

Harvey Elliot is a tough one as he often has been played in MF

It's gonna be a huge summer
