yeah Life of Brain's a great shout.
That used to be my funniest.
I think your taste changes over time.
As a kid, I remember watching Chaplin's Modern Times and not being able to breath. When I watched it recently it didn't even raise a chuckle.

I think it is brilliant, perfectly pitched at that style of comedy. Whereas I like a lot of the others but they are a bit too ridiculous at points.

I like Jim Carrey but I found his humour to be funnier when I was younger. It's more theatrics than wit, in my opinion.

That's the brilliance of it. He can make you laugh while being incredibly silly.

Thought Roadtrip was really funny when I watched it the first time, and the taser scene in particular had me in stitches!
