In no particular order I'll go:
Wolf of Wall Street
Dredd
The Revenant
Edge of tomorrow
Inception
Ford vs Ferrari
The Raid
Rogue One
Joker
Infinity War
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dredd, Rogue One
It was a poor decade for movies if we're honest. Too often reliant on CGI to provide entertainment is drab, predicable plots.
Not many will be remembered in 15/20 years.

Wtf was that exactly?
High on their own hype tbh

Started 5 and got bored,
Great show for the first 3 series.

Disagree.
This era was probably poor for Hollywood blockbusters overall, with too many remakes, reboots and sequels.
But it was fantastic for indie, foreign film, horror and science fiction.
We had fantastic use of practical and special effects in movies made by Nolan, along with other films like Mad Max.
We had some truly groundbreaking horror films from this decade.
Commercially we can't ignore the massive success of cinematic universes and the introduction of films available through streaming services.
The decade was probably not as good as say the 70s or 60s, but it was probably an improvement on the two previous decades

I haven't watched any Peaky Blinders but my mate told me to stop at season 4 if I do start watching. Is that a fair assessment ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Classic signs of a show leaning in to their popularity too much
Lots of fan service now over good plotlines and character development
Lazy basically

Dredd is awesome. A must watch if you haven't seen. Not everyone's cup of tea maybe but it's all subjective and it definitely gets into my top ten.
And I'm getting called out on Rogue One when I saw Last Jedi get included in someone's list before

I included it in honourable mentions, and I stand by it.
Not a perfect film, but is quite a bit better than any of the Disney Star Wars movies.
Dredd was brilliant. Think a TV show is happening.
After the hit of the Mandalorian, here's another masked hero, a bonafide hit for sure.
Just finished Lost in Space. The tone feels like i'm watching The A-Team, Knight Rider. Wholesome fun. Good stuff.
Watched The Gentlemen on Saturday
Not on Snatch of Lock Stock levels but I enjoyed it. The multitude of ways they dropped the C bomb made me chuckle

I'm not sure we'll ever get this Dredd tv show Stringer. There's a very long story behind why nothing has actually happened yet in terms of production since this show was announced about three years ago.
They've basically torn up all the original plans etc and last I heard they were going to start all over with a different company. Sounds like an absolute shlt show.
Can see us getting this tv show eventually but I have a feeling it might be some low budget awfulness. Hopefully I'm wrong.
And I enjoyed Lost in Space as well. Utterly mindless entertainment although the Robinson family being in some dire straights life or death conundrum every single episode can get a bit repetitive.

Looking forward to it. Not expecting Snatch or Lock Stock standard but the cast is packed with talent so I'm sure will be fun.
Anyone watched 1917 yet? Going Thursday to see it in IMAX and I'm looking forward to it, love a good war film.
Just finished Watchmen, overall it was excellent with some episodes being the best I have ever seen.
The season finale was quite weak though
I was looking for a series to watch... came across The newsroom with Jeff Daniels...about 5 years old now...wow... brilliant

I didn't mind the finale but the episode before with Doc Manhattan was just brilliant. One of the best yes.
I also loved the episode when she took the pills.
Getting through the American Office
Controversial
Better than the English!
1917 last night in IMAX.
Brilliant, such attention to detail when looking around the trenches and battlefields and the way in which it's filmed is fantastic for the plot, following the character the whole way just draws you in and makes it hit home just what they deal with.
