I imagine they will stick a load of old classic movies on like they have recently and then some that only came out a year ago or so and reduce costs to see them in IMAX and VIP etc.

Watched the first season (5 episodes) and a couple of seasons from episode 2.
While they make some good observations, it just isn't that funny. Think I laughed once through all the episodes.
Takes a season or two to find its stride

What's with shows people call classics taking so long to actually get good? Shouldn't a classic be good from the start to the end? Breaking Bad as well. Cant even finish the first season without questioning my life choices that got me to the 5th episode.

Lots of shows have crap first season and are cancelled. Not sure it's a fair comparison.

Seinfeld is a classic because it influenced nearly every comedy that came after it, it’s the greatest ever IMO and I’ve watched a feck load. Yes it had a somewhat slow start but as soon as it found its rhythm it was greatness from then on.
Breaking Bad got better with every season but that didn’t mean it was crap at the start. I thought it was brilliant right away. But obviously it’s not going to be for everyone which is fine.
Rome had two of the greatest seasons ever and still got cancelled
Two months or so back I found a series called The Newsroom
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1870479/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0
with Jeff Daniels as the late news anchor (it's on Sky series)
The opening sequences where he's doing a Q&A with students & one asks him "what makes America so great" & he launches into a diatribe of why it's not so great was riveting...- binge watched the entire two series in about two weeks
Classic case of a series opening exceptionally strong & got you hooked
BB was being touted about as something special for ages before I watched it
eventually watched about 5-6 episodes...got bored of it
Another I missed the first time was The Wire...
Watched Ep 1 once...but found it to be hard work due to the street speak style
Went back to it some two/three years later re-watched ep 1 got past the style of filming & loved it...
binge watched every series in two months

That was good. Got into it from Youtube clips and ended up binging the whole thing last year.
One of those shows that had a top supporting cast too. Always liked Dev Patel and Olivia Munn in it.
