I lie.. Bugsy Malone the only musical I’ve watched, and actually enjoyed..

Yeh not a massive fans of horror, and honestly generally find them tame - Exorcist was so meh watching it in the late 90s.

However I do really like the bass trick in Paranormal Activity

Nightmare on Elm street did freak me out as a kid mind you.

Once you become an adult, I think horrors lose their appeal, as the fear factor has gone. I can still appreciate a creative story but that's usually not the selling point.

Either, new ish releases first I guess. Monsters in it even better

Talk to me is pretty good, prob one of the better newer horrors I have seen

Yeah cannot stand musicals

I think a lot of horrors rely on suspense for their frights, and to me that isn’t a genuine horror movie, more of a hybrid.

Also agree with the earlier point that horrors are more effective when you’re younger. Personally, I believed a lot of supernatural stuff that I easily dismiss now, so if you believe there’s even a tiny chance that some of it could actually happen then it’s going to freak you out.

Freddie terrified me at first, it was a fairly original concept too, which isn’t easy to come up with in horrors. Though they made too many imo, the effect got diluted with each new movie.

Barbarian was good for that. A little believable, messed up, and a bit scary.

I honestly can’t think of the last time I felt scared watching any horror. As I said terrified that Argentinian horror had some good moments
