Misbah is a clown. The guy has no idea whatsoever. Sure we normally lose away at Australia but this guy is taking us backwards. He's gonna make us extinct like the hockey team.

Just finished playing and we sack a successful and replace him with Misbah who not only is the coach, he is also the batting coach, selector and coach of a PSL team.

Lat time Pakistan lost to Aus, Chappell said Aus should not not invite them. he was damn bloody right.

Yeah I think it was deffo hyped up by the media. Pak should have played Abbas who tormented the Aus batting in UAE.

Also don’t understand the logic of Pak management. Why are they playing Babar at 5/6? If he is your best batsmen he should be at 4 minimum.

Babar batting at 5 instead of 4 would not have made much difference.Its a real thrashing, would be glad if Aus does not set other records.

Absolutely embarrassing. Misbah literally destroying some of the good work that has been done in the last few years. If pcb don’t act quickly we’ll be no better than a pub team

If I was CEO of PCB, I would have sacked this management before the end of this test.

When was the last time Pakistan won a test in Australia? I'm thinking it must have been around 1998/1999 or was it before then

95/96 tour in Sydney when Mushtaq got 10 or 9 wicket haul,came close in 99 tour before Gilchrist and Langer aided by umpires as well made record wicket stand.
I followed cricket a lot till 90;s and well aware of our history, and I can confidently state that Pakistan cricket has never been subjected to such thrashing ever before,this country won test match on its first ever tour and has produced great legends.

regressing in every format now, cant really see where the next batch of players are going to come from

I can remember a test match against Australia in 2009/2010 where they were batting in there 2nd innings, 8 down trailing us by 20 runs, they ended up getting a 180 run lead and we ended up failing to chase it!

Yeah that was the dodgy test match where kackmal took a payment to lose the test. He dropped a sitter catch and missed a regulation stumping.

was that the Sydney match??? the run out still sticks in my mind. And I agree very iffy match that..

Yep test was in the bag and then found a way to lose it. This was months before the losers finally got caught in the act at Lords.

Pakistan crickets has been subjected to several low points this century.

Its poignant to see the current state because cricket is played all over Pakistan. It simply we do not have right minds at the top who can establish decent structure at top and eliminate nepotism.

One good selection is Rizwan, he is a good test batsman and can win tests for Pakistan

Decent fight shown by the younger players but we were well and truly beaten.

Only positives are scoring 335! and Babar making a century, Rizwan also scoring 90 odd. Yasir Shah taking 4 wickets and also contributing with the bat. Need to bring Abbas back into the team! Surely we must also have better allrounders than Iftikhar in this format!

Iftikhar looks poor but hes gotta be given a run. Haris for me looks under threat. He is not a number 3 and has forced Azhar to open. Need Azhar back at 3 and Imam to open.

Maybe we should also look at bringing back Sami Aslam

Sami Aslam played most of his tests overseas than replaced by Hafeez, but he showed promise and has potential to score big innings but current state of bowling is woeful, this bowling will struggle to pick 10 wickets in a test let alone 20 wickets in test match.
