Megaman 2 was/is the easiest Megaman game to complete, still stuck on no.1 after all this time .
Can't beat the old retro games, I built my own arcade machine with all the old games in it and i've got a bunch of emulators with loads of games that i still load up (Can't beat Zelda, Mario, Sonic and pokemon)
On the Amstrad I still play Galactic Plague and Harrier Attack and every once in a while fire up football manager.
Pc is always and will be Premier Manager 2, best game i've played
Must admit I have been tempted a few times to buy one of the retro gaming machines that you see about nowadays with loads of old classics on them. Think you get get like 500 games or something.
The main game I really want to play again is Shenmue from the Dreamcast - mate had it and I thought at the time that it was brilliant but never got one myself.
Played FF7 through again not long ago and it was brilliant on the PC, really easy to play and the story is still top notch.

I think the Amiga version of that game had a 'fruit machine' option which enabled you to have ultimate players and stadium, even in the old Conference League
Not sure if the Gamecube era is classed as 'retro' (probably is)
But I still play the Metroid Prime games a lot. Also the Banjo-Kazooie series on the N64.
Zelda Majora's Mask for the N64 I play at least three/four times a year, love that game.
Gave my N64 to my sister as she loves playing Zelda and Mario Golf, my nieces still play most of those games as well.
There was a great Xmen game on the Gamecube. You had 4 Xmen and you could swap them out and build up their stats and stuff like that, was brilliant but can't remember the name, Xmen Legends or something. Would love to play that again.

I bought a Game-Cube last year purely so I could play Medal of Honor Front Line again Best 10.00 I ever spent.
The only 'old' consoles I've got are my Megadrive and N64 with around 20-25 games for each.
Both in working order with multiple pads for each etc.
I have to make sure I get them out and have a little play on them every year or so just to justify keeping them whenever we have a clear out or when we moved house
Last time I had the N64 out i had a few mates over for drinks, few games of poker & played Mario Kart and Goldeneye for hours

I loved the Megadrive Pad. Used it on my Amiga as well
Sensible World of Soccer was much easier to play with those pads.

Yeah they're great!
Have 2 of those and one of the arcade style ones, really big they are;
http://www.geocities.ws/retrocollectors/images/powerstick.jpg
X-Men Legends and Legends 2 Mank. Absolute classics games (Rougue Squadron 2 and 3 as well). give my lil girl my gamecube but sometimes get the urge to nab it back just for them .
wish the emulator guys would invent some kind of 'virtual mouse'.
I found premier manager 2 and CM 93/94 EOS edition on android, but couldn't really play em because of the mouse requirements
Forgot to mention Super Metroid for the SNES, absolute masterpiece that holds up well to this day!
Retropie for the win!
Very few games have stood the test of time. Tried a couple through gog or emulators and seriously some are best left to nostalgia
Few like Mario World, are pretty timeless. Or the odd beat em ups arent bad and Contra is still as hard as nails.
There's a great cafe opened up near me in Nottingham which has a bunch of flat screen TV's connected to Mega Drive's, NES, PS1, PS2, Gamecube's, N64's etc. I go every now and again and it is a great way to spend a couple of hours.
I actually think these games from our childhood would be really popular with kids today, they play fairly basic sims online now so things like Streets of Rage, Zelda etc would be right up there street imo.
Streets of Rage was brilliant, loved it, and Golden Axe too.
My wee boy whos 5 loves streets of rage. Bought the 40 game mega drive pack and he now prefers it to the lego games.
It was great, Streets of Rage 2 even better
Nothing like finding a cooked chicken or giant apple underneath a phone box or behind a dumpster when you're low on health

Is that the toast bar?
*swallowing noise*
Chicken!
When you waste your lead pipe on some easy cannon fodder street punks and then it vanishes just as one of those caaaants comes flying into the screen at head height on their motorbikes
