What a load of rubbish

We haven’t even seen AJ’s power at elite level really happen and even less so now he boxes so conservative because he’s afraid of getting hit after Ruiz

Parker took AJ’s shots
Usyk took AJ’s shots
A fat Ruiz took AJ’s shots

AJ’s “power” is very over hyped. Not really surprising as he doesn’t balance and move his legs and feet properly when he throws power shots as he’s so flat footed and at top level that’s why they’re not as effective now

AJs power is very overhyped yet he has 24 wins, 22 by stoppage including:

Pulev 2020
Povetkin 2018
Takam 2017
Wlad 2017
Whyte 2015

I’ll give you Whyte but even then that was such a messy fight and 7 years ago when Whyte was half as good as he is now

AJ does not have one shot KO power and it wasn’t like he even walked through any of the above bar Whyte they went 9 rounds 7 rounds 10 rounds and 11 rounds

If anything that’s just evidence he’s power isn’t felt as much at this level. Didn’t stop Parker, couldn’t hurt Usyk, couldn’t stop Ruiz

Also doesn’t fight that way anymore.

I’m not saying he can’t hurt Fury but he definitely can not knock Fury out cold with one shot like you’re trying to make out he’s like Wilder, he’s far from it. And as others have said I’d be very surprised if he even hurts Fury

This is a guy who is the best in the division, much better than the above guys, and he’s in his prime and not over the hill like all 4 of them were

Fury’s recent power / KO ability is far more impressive than AJ’s

But disappointed with GGG. Canelo was always in control. Boring fight tbh

GGG fighting at super middle was never going to work

Fight went as I expected it to. Canelo getting his first real win against GGG because of GGG's age, but I wasn't naive enough to believe there'd be any KO's or knockdowns because they both have some of the best chins in boxing.

Shame those judges ruined everything for GGG and this final fight. GGG's legacy would look so much better with an Alvarez win on his record and this final fight would have been more anticipated because of it and the approach and motivation for both fighters may have been different. Maybe he could get an easy fight first and retire on a win, like a Eubank Jr fight.

The weight was irrelevant, it was more the fact that Golovkin was 40 and weathered.

Canelo showed some chinks in his armour and I wonder if his high level of fight activity is catching up to him. I don't see the Bivol rematch going any other way and instead, I would prefer to see Canelo vs Benavidez.

Boxing fans want to see the Benavídez fight so hopefully that happens next, could be be a big Mayo de Cinco event next year I assume. Forget the Bivol rematch I'm not interested in seeing that again. We have weight classes for a reason even if Canelo did well against Kova at light heavy.

I agree.

I'd like to see Canelo vs Charlo/Benavidez.

I get Canelo wants to chase greatness but Bivol is equally as skilled as him and bigger, which makes his chances of winning, slim.
