Entirely possible that Joker will be in the third Reeves Batman film and not the second film. They're still writing the movie so I'll guess we'll find out. I don't think there'll be a fourth movie in this series though. Pretty sure Matt Reeves has already said that he sees this as a trilogy.

Yeah I would have thought so String. Otherwise not sure why Reeves would have released that Joker scene. Then again we're still a ways away from a second let alone a third Batman film so anything can happen before then.

Personally I wasn't blown away by the Barry Keoghan Joker. Wasn't bad I suppose. The guys a bit on the small side, Joker should be a bit more physically imposing. What did you think aboot it ?

I'm going to rewatch The Batman before Penguin TV series comes out so I'll rewatch that Joker outtake scene again to see if I feel differently about it.

Barry is a good actor… I do like him. But, I’m in two minds. I wouldn’t have picked him for the Joker role, but that’s not saying he can’t do it justice, but he is on the small side.
Phoenix got the look down. I’ll give him that.

But I remember the deleted scene, and he’s good. So, sure why not, let him have a crack at it.

Have to admit to some trepidation at the thought of Freeze in this universe. Court of Owls would be absolutely perfect though I think.

Worth the watch alone. First two episodes were okay.

RE: The Batman

I think it was Insert who mentioned it previously that the third movie should be about Joker breaking everyone out of Arkham Asylum. Will actually be great progression tbh...keep your grounded themes with the corruption and then have Joker wreck havoc as your all-out action sendoff for the trilogy
