Shang Chi seems to be getting great reviews and especially from youtube channels that I trust, so I am looking forward to this one

I thought they were quite good but all MCU movie trailers deliver the same thing, so it's always difficult to discern how the movie will turn out. E.G Black Widow had some good trailers but the movie wasn't great.

Expected to be in mid-October with a shorter theatrical window apparently.

Ok What if episode 4 spoilers:

Terrific episode and probably my favourite. The whole splitting of the universe thing was portrayed so well and seeing the two versions of Dr Strange was a delightful experience both from a dialogue point and the visual feast. The scene of them fighting had shades of Strange vs Thanos in IF. The involvement of the beyonder and ancient one explaining the points in time that cannot be altered added more universe building material to the MCU and the way the show ended was perfect. Not all timelines end happily and we saw that in this episode. Now in terms of the future of the MCU, I can easily see this darker version of Dr Strange making an appearance in Dr Strange 2 and it would be incredible if we see them two face off in a live action depiction. I also think those beings that Strange was absorbing could feature in a live action movie, as they've been used twice now in this series.

Because Disney invested a lot of money into that movie and a large component was the asian culture and audience it was targeting. Making it cinema only generates more revenue, much like Black Panther although I doubt this movie will do the same thing it did for african culture.

There's a theory going round that a darker / alternate Strange is what we see in Far From Home. Agreed that the episode was terrific, I thought the action and ending in particular were incredible.

It got them interested enough in a comic book character, to go to the cinema and take their family with them. I'd imagine a large percentage of that audience had barely watched any MCU movies prior to that.

Interesting theory but I'd be shocked if that Strange appears in Spiderman. Mainly because he would completely annihilate Tom Hollands Spidey <laugh?

Could be Mephisto in disguise

Strange absorbed a creature that did look like the devil, which some people said might be Mephisto.

Just finished the first 3 eps of what if, enjoyed e2 the most.

Seeing Thanos getting ragged on for his plan was pretty hilarious as was seeing how much better T'Chalia was as Starlord than Quill

Hopefully seeing that at the weekend, heard good things. Will be unusual for me as I know next to nothing about the character.

What If episode 5 was ok but a bit of a comedown from last week. The ending actually made me chuckle a little bit.

I enjoyed the Zombie episode because, well Zombies. It was nice to see a few different characters interacting with each other as well. I think as is the case with a lot of these episodes, they'd be improved if they were longer as it felt a bit rushed towards the end. I've enjoyed the series as a whole (the first felt a bit underwhelming) but I know a fair few people who have watched all the films and other TV series who aren't bothered by What If.
