McKenna

Was on the radio the other night saying his stats showed him to be the second fastest full back in the league.

I’m fairly comfortable with us going in for him at say £6m. 21 is he? International. That’s where the magnet is going and we just sometimes have to suck it up. If we demand big bucks for our players then it’s onky fair other teams demand it from us. 👍

He's not a full back mate. That's why I'm asking. Ive seen him a few times and I wouldn't say that pace is one of his assets.

Anyway the bears are right to be giddy. You and I both know that the old saying about form going out the window in OF games is utter tosh. The form team usually wins and rangers are the form team.

Even though it's at parkhead, rangers have to be favourites. If Gerrard gets beat next week he'll be in trouble. Two league defeats in a row would be bad news at this stage of the season.

There was even chatter about John Terry yesterday.

I think the suggested McKenna price is getting very high (I also thought the Scott Brown one years ago did too) but at 21 there’s plenty time to get value out of him. He’s had interest from England so it’s not surprising Aberdeen want a big fee.

Was seeing a thing there where Rodgers was saying he had 3 targets with Edouard being one but the other two are gone. Probably media spin on what he said but it’s unusual to see a manager say they didn’t get what they wanted in. It’s never really worked for Mourinho doing that.

That’s my thinking. If you aren’t budgeting for it then any money available to spend now ought to have been there 3 weeks ago. If it was then if you wanted to bid for McKenna it could have been done then. I’m not sure if it’s dragging heels or not identifying targets within the budget.
